SMS Messaging Program

How Lawton Labs sends and confirms text-message notifications · Effective July 13, 2026 · Updated July 30, 2026

Lawton Labs (Kyle Lawton, sole proprietor) operates a low-volume SMS program that sends service notifications and approval requests to the owners and administrators of businesses that use Lawton Labs' hosted software. This page describes the program and exactly how a person opts in and out.

Who receives messages

Only individuals who operate or administer a business account on a Lawton Labs service, and who have personally asked to receive SMS notifications for that account. This is not a marketing or promotional program, and messages are never sent to purchased or third-party lists.

How you opt in (complete workflow)

  1. Request enrollment (an optional choice). If — and only if — you would like SMS notifications, complete the enrollment form below — this is the only way to enroll. (If Kyle Lawton is setting up a Lawton Labs service for you in person, you fill out this same form yourself.) Your name, number, and the date/time of your consent are recorded before any message is sent.
  2. Confirmation text (double opt-in). The first message you receive asks you to confirm enrollment. It reads: "Lawton Labs: You asked to receive service notifications & approval alerts. Reply YES to confirm. Msg frequency varies (typically 1–5/wk). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
  3. Active confirmation required. No further messages are sent unless you reply YES. Consent is never pre-checked or assumed.

Enroll in SMS notifications

Enrolling is entirely optional. Nothing on this website and no Lawton Labs service requires you to fill out this form, provide a phone number, or agree to receive texts. Consent is never a condition of using our services, creating an account, or completing any purchase or transaction. Use the form below only if you want SMS notifications — every field is optional, and if you leave the consent box unchecked we will not send you any messages.

Message types you'll receive

After confirming, you may receive: alerts that an item (such as a social-media post) is ready for your approval, confirmations that a scheduled task completed, and system status notices. Example: "Lawton Labs: A new 5-star review post for [Business] is ready to approve. View: lawtonlabs.ai/a/[code]. Reply STOP to opt out."

Message frequency & cost

Frequency varies with your account's activity — typically 1–5 messages per week. Lawton Labs does not charge you to receive messages, but message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
